Laura, is the visionary behind Blue Door Gatherings. She grew up in Western Massachusetts with an insatiable curiosity for the world of food.

From her early years, Laura found herself drawn to the heart of the kitchen, where she cultivated a fierce independence that propelled her into the realm of professional kitchens. She decided to pursue her passion at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

It was at the CIA that Laura's love affair with the world of wine blossomed. Spending her formative years in culinary exploration, she immersed herself in the vineyard-laden landscapes of Hudson Valley, NY, the sun-soaked terroirs of Napa Valley, CA, and the gastronomic haven of northern France. Graduating from the CIA with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Advanced Beverage and Hospitality, Laura emerged with a rich tapestry of experiences that set the stage for her culinary and oenological pursuits.

Laura's training ground extended to the esteemed kitchens of Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Tarrytown, New York, and the prestigious Robert Sinskey Vineyards in Napa, California. She achieved her Level I Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, further solidifying her expertise in the realm of fine beverages.

Laura returned to her roots in Western Massachusetts in 2018, driven by a passionate vision to establish Blue Door Gatherings.
